This is the “official” headshot. After trying to crop a shot from the various iPhone camera pics, I finally had to give in and get a real photo. Just for the record, in case anyone is keeping track – this is the first professional photo I have had in over 15 years. Getting my picture taken is right up there with going to the dentist. You can imagine what getting dental x-rays must be like – the combination of my two least favorite activities.
This is also the inaugural posting of my blog “Marc Kaye Today” – catchy, isn’t it?
Why now? Someone advised me recently “do it all” in reference to showcasing creativity.
The reality is that I don’t know what I am really doing. I know what I like to do and if people may be interested in it, then all the better.
I think that goes for most of us. Time is limited and some of us like to teach a skill that we are passionate about, or coach or do nothing, which is fine, too.
I have lived most of my life with expressing my creative part “on the side”. In fact, if I ever make a comedy album or write an autobiography, I think I’ll call it “on the side” especially since “50 Shades of Grey” is already taken (not to mention less believable).
For anyone reading this blog, I would really appreciate your comments, especially on the things you’d like to read. It’s great if I get something out of it, but even better if you do.
Marc
